Welcome!
This is Suite735
3.04.2025
I am Federica, born and raised in a small town in eastern Sicily, which I left to study languages in Venice.
arrived here when I was still a young girl, but I had always dreamed of living in this magical city, but I would have never imagined it would one day become my home. After an exciting period working in the fashion retail industry and the lucky encounter with Alberto, the great love of my life, I realized that Venice was my destiny. From the very beginning, it welcomed me with open arms—or rather, open calli—and even today, after many years, it continues to give me so much, both professionally and personally.
The first memory
I still remember with deep fondness my first time in the lagoon. I took Vaporetto Line 1 along the Grand Canal to reach Punta della Dogana, and I was left breathless by the way the water reflected off the stunning palazzi.
Today, this might seem ordinary, but imagine a girl just over twenty years old, in a time without social networks, on a nearly empty boat on a Monday morning in early September: I felt free and safe, but never would I have imagined all that life and this city would give me.
To me, Venice is a city of a thousand faces and a thousand colors, of boundless and overwhelming beauty that often leaves you speechless. You learn to love and accept Venice only by living it— fragile yet powerful, bound by its own nature yet free to express itself in all its inexhaustible beauty
My Boutique House
The idea of opening a Boutique House in such a city was born from my belief that, now more than ever, Venice needs slowness, beauty, and, above all, trust.
My journey into design and interior styling began thanks to Suite735. My previous work experiences were tied to the world of fashion
—one of my great passions—but when I started designing the spaces of Suite735, an incredible new world of colors and fabrics opened up before me.
I found inspiration in the lagoon, in its colors, in the play of light over the canals, in the sunsets at Le Zattere, and in the magical foggy days, when everything is wrapped in a soft veil of mystery… I wanted to represent Venice as I had always envisioned it—an elegant woman with a retro yet timeless charm. I sought to tell the story of Venice through my own eyes, choosing only what truly inspired me, without limitations. My goal was to enchant my guests from the very first moment, which is why I chose to cover the walls with golden foliage wallpaper that reminded me of the hues of Venice at sunset.
Each carefully selected tone is a tribute to the calli, the canals, and the traditions of this beloved city: pinks, shades of green, and grays blend seamlessly, as if the colors themselves were the voice of the space. Stepping through the doors of Suite735, guests are transported in an unique and fascinating universe—a perfect fusion of my artistic vision and the unforgettable essence of my city.
It is an invitation to be swept away by emotions, to immerse oneself in an experience without boundaries, where every corner reveals a subtle harmony.
Thanks to Suite735, I have had the fortune of meeting so many wonderful people and enriching myself through their stories. Thanks to my guests, I have come to realize that my role is not just that of a host but also of a guide. It is in the spirit of a true insider that I love sharing the Venice I know and cherish, because Venice is alive—you just have to discover it.
A place close to my heart: Le Zattere.
I couldn’t write the first entry of this blog without mentioning Le Zattere, as they have meant practically everything in my Venetian life. My first student apartment, my first aperitifs, the morning rush to make it to class on time, the little kiosk where I first met Alberto—in short, life itself.
My latest discovery: The Orto Garden of the Santissimo Redentore Convent
Recently restored thanks to the efforts of the Venice Gardens Foundation. A magical and peaceful place, perfect for escaping the city’s hustle and reconnecting with oneself.
My go-to drink!
Definitely at Cocktail Bar Experimental, with its elegant and sophisticated interior design curated by the fantastic Cristina Celestino. And, for the record, I’m definitely a French Sour kind of person…
