Christmas in Venice always arrives quietly. The lights are never overwhelming, sounds soften, and the fog adds an extra touch of mystery. At this time of year, the city reveals itself as it truly is: essential, silent, elegant. The water reflects the festive lights, the air turns colder, and every walk becomes a small ritual, made of slow steps and lingering glances at hidden details.

It is a Venice that I particularly love. Perhaps because in winter, with fewer visitors around, it asks for less attention and gives so much more in return. It invites us to slow down, to pause, to experience time differently. Sitting in a warm café, crossing a bridge at sunset, heading home when darkness has already fallen—simple gestures, yet full of meaning.

The end of the year is also a moment when I stop and press rewind. 2025 has been an intense, full year, rich in emotions. Professionally, it’s a year I will carry with me: more and more people have chosen Suite735 as their place of the heart in Venice.
